- A chemical inventory shall be maintained for all offshore and onshore operations. Material safety data sheets for each process chemical shall be available for reference on site.
- The volume of discharges to the Gulf shall be estimated and recorded daily. A summary shall be generated at the end of each calendar quarter. As an example, this includes produced water, drilling fluid, completion fluid, drill cuttings, sanitary waste, deck drainage, cement, sand, oxidizer ash, etc.
- Flow measurement devices shall have maximum deviation less than 10%
- Emission sources with heat input capacity greater than 25 MW shall be equipped with CEMS for NOx. Stacks connected to the SRU shall be equipped with CEMS for SO2
- At least once per month, a grab sample of Produced water shall be analyzed for oil & grease content.
- Deck and Machinery space drainage water if discharged a grab sample of treated drain water shall be analyzed for oil & grease content.
- The total estimate of monthly discharge of solids should be recorded, including produced sands, sediments, oxidizer ash and cement, shall be recorded.
- if mineral oil has been added as a drilling fluid lubricity or spotting agent, oil content shall be determined daily (by retort) when discharging fluids.
